About

Hongzong Li is currently a Professor with the School of Computer Science, Northwestern Polytechnical University, Xi’an, China. From 2025 to 2026, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow with the Generative AI Research and Development Center, the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Hong Kong, working with Prof. Dapeng Oliver Wu. He received the Ph.D. degree in computer science from the City University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong, in 2024, under the supervision of Prof. Jun Wang, and the B.E. degree in automation from Northeastern University, Shenyang, China, in 2020.

His research interests include optimization, computational intelligence, fuzzy systems, robotics, and autonomous systems.
